A concerned Nigerian lady has taken to social media to warn fellow women about the activities of a suspected rogue Uber driver operating in Lagos.
According to her post, the driver has reportedly been robbing and physically assaulting female passengers, targeting women who book late-night or early morning rides. The lady shared her experience and urged others to be extremely vigilant, saying:
“There’s a particular Uber driver in Lagos who is targeting women. Please be careful — he robbed and assaulted some ladies.”
Her account has since gone viral, prompting calls for Uber Nigeria and law enforcement authorities to investigate and take swift action.
Many users online are now demanding tighter security checks, stricter background verifications, and improved safety measures for ride-hailing apps in Nigeria.
Women are being urged to share their trip details with trusted contacts, avoid unverified drivers, and report any suspicious behavior immediately.
