“Not Inspiration, It’s Deception” – Mo Bimpe Cries Out as YouTube Impersonator Steals Her Content and Identity

Mo Bimpe Pens Heartfelt Note to Herself, Offers Encouragement to Fans

Popular Nigerian actress Mo Bimpe has taken to social media to call out a YouTube channel named Mobimpewrite’s Stories for impersonating her and stealing her original content — including videos, movie posters, and personal messages.

In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Wednesday, the 28-year-old actress expressed deep frustration over the situation, revealing that the impersonator has been mimicking her every move online.

“I’m TIRED. I’m FED UP,” she wrote in her caption.

“Someone created a YouTube channel named Mobimpewrite’s Stories just to copy EVERYTHING I do. Video for video. Poster for poster. She literally waits for me to post, then uploads the same thing, tricking people into believing it’s me.”

“Not Inspiration, It’s Deception” — Mo Bimpe Warns

Mo Bimpe, whose real name is Adebimpe Oyebade, further revealed that the impersonator even reposted her personal birthday tribute to her mother, passing it off as original content.

“That’s not inspiration. That’s disrespectful,” she wrote.
“She’s gaining subscribers, followers, likes, and comments, growing off my hard work and deceiving people who think it’s me.”

Despite efforts by her team to report the fraudulent account, Mo Bimpe claims the impersonator continues to upload content stolen from her official YouTube channel, Mo Bimpe TV.

Calls for Support and Legal Action

Married to Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji, Mo Bimpe has built a loyal fanbase by sharing behind-the-scenes footage, personal vlogs, and original movie projects on her channel.

She is now urging fans to help report the impersonating channel to YouTube, as she considers legal action to protect her brand.

“This person is determined to keep stealing my work, my sweat, my ideas, my creativity,” she stated.

“You’re impersonating me and deceiving people. And one thing I can assure you is this — you will be caught. Soon.”

In her closing remarks, Mo Bimpe appealed to lawyers, tech experts, and social media professionals for guidance on how to permanently shut down the infringing channel.

“I built Mo Bimpe TV with tears, passion, and consistency. I won’t let someone else ruin that or hijack what I’ve poured my heart and soul into.”
