Talent manager Ubi Franklin has penned a touching tribute to Chioma Rowland, wife of Afrobeats superstar Davido, just hours before the couple’s lavish white wedding in Miami.
Taking to Instagram, Ubi revealed that Chioma’s unwavering support helped him through one of the toughest periods of his life — the loss of his sister. He admitted he almost skipped the wedding due to his grief, but Chioma’s daily check-ins and comforting words gave him strength.
“She would call every day, sometimes just stay on the phone to hear me cry, and then say, ‘Ubi, everything will be okay,’” he recalled.
Franklin described Chioma as deeply loving and praised the bond they share. Despite the pain he was dealing with, he said he wouldn’t miss this wedding for anything, calling it “a union God has blessed.”
In his message, he prayed for Davido and Chioma’s marriage to be blessed “beyond their imaginations,” celebrating the couple as an inspiration to those around them.
