Hollywood actress Halle Berry has seemingly addressed recent comments made by her ex-husband, David Justice, about the reasons behind their split.
Justice, in a podcast interview on All the Smoke hosted by Matt Barnes, claimed their marriage ended because Berry did not meet his traditional expectations of a wife, which included cooking, cleaning, and displaying a motherly demeanor.
In what appeared to be a subtle clapback, Berry posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering.”
Halle Berry and David Justice were married on January 1, 1993, before finalizing their divorce in June 1997.
