Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay Idibia and her husband, legendary singer 2Baba, have unfollowed each other on Instagram, further fueling speculation about ongoing issues in their marriage.
The couple, who have been married for over a decade, have faced public ups and downs in recent months. A check by Kemi Filani revealed that Annie no longer follows her husband on the photo-sharing app, and 2Baba has also unfollowed her.
Interestingly, 2Baba has cut down his list of followers to just 33 people, which now includes his new wife, Natasha, alongside a handful of colleagues, such as comedian Ayo Makun, Don Jazzy, Kemi Adetiba, and Nasboi.
This latest development comes just a day after Annie appeared to throw shade at the singer. In an Instagram story, she praised several men she described as great fathers, including Peter Okoye, Cole Peter, and Andilen Cube — notably leaving out 2Baba.
Last month, Annie also sparked conversations when she hinted at moving on, writing that she “just archives and moves on.”
With the couple’s social media activity under heavy scrutiny, fans are once again left questioning the state of their relationship.
