Tyson Fury has announced that he no longer supports Manchester United, bluntly revealing that he has distanced himself from football altogether.
The former heavyweight boxing champion admitted that the Red Devils’ recent struggles contributed to his decision to stop following the sport.
Speaking to Racing TV during the Cartmel races on Bank Holiday Monday, Fury said:
“I’m not a supporter of football really.
“I used to support United but because they’re in the s** now I’m no supporter of any football teams anymore.”
He went on to explain that England’s shocking Euro 2016 defeat to Iceland was the breaking point in his interest in the game.
Tyson Fury shared that his true passion now lies in horse racing, where he and his manager, Spencer Brown, are actively building a stable of thoroughbreds.
