Popular reality TV star and comedian, Aderombi Adedayo Martin, popularly known as DeeOne, has announced his plan to break the record for the world’s longest stand-up comedy performance.
DeeOne revealed that his attempt has already been approved by the Guinness World Record, GWR, and shared the news via Instagram on Sunday.
Speaking on his passion and determination to showcase Nigerian talent on the global stage, the comedian said, “There comes a time in every man’s life when he must test the limit of what is possible for himself, his people, his craft and generations watching.”
According to him, the record-breaking event will see him attempt more than 40 hours of non-stop comedy and storytelling at Pallazo Lagos, Opebi, Ikeja, from October 2 to 4, 2025.
His announcement comes just days after fellow BBNaija star, Tacha, revealed her own plans to set a world record for the most makeovers, scheduled to hold between October 10 and 12, 2025.
