Arsenal Comeback Win at Newcastle

Arsenal staged a stunning late turnaround to beat Newcastle 2-1 at St. James’ Park, keeping pace in the Premier League title race.

The Gunners looked set for a fourth straight defeat at the ground after Nick Woltemade’s first-half header put the hosts in front.

But Mikel Merino nodded in the equaliser to spark hope, and in the 96th minute Gabriel Magalhaes rose highest from a corner to snatch all three points.

The dramatic victory lifted Arsenal into second place, just two points behind leaders Liverpool, underlining their intent in the early weeks of the season.
