Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, has claimed that ICE agents will be on ground at Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show in 2026.
Speaking on The Benny Show with Benny Johnson, Lewandowski declared:
“There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find you and apprehend you and put you in a detention facility and deport you.”
The Super Bowl performance will mark Bad Bunny’s only U.S. concert appearance in 2026, as his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour skips the States.
The Puerto Rican superstar previously told I-D Magazine that fears of potential ICE raids influenced his decision not to tour the U.S.
Lewandowski, who managed Trump’s 2016 campaign and now serves as an adviser to the Department of Homeland Security, also criticized the NFL’s choice of Bad Bunny for the high-profile show.
“It’s so shameful they’ve decided to pick somebody who seems to hate America so much to represent them at the halftime show. We should be trying to be inclusive, not exclusive. There are plenty of great bands and entertainers who could be playing that would bring people together, not divide them.”
