Actress Regina Daniels has made a quiet return to social media just days after reports of a marital dispute with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, surfaced online.
On Saturday, the 25-year-old Nollywood star shared clips of herself aboard a private jet, sipping from a glass and looking relaxed. In one of the videos, she could be heard saying “Morale high” while smiling confidently.
Her post comes amid ongoing rumours of tension in her marriage to the Delta North senator. Speculation intensified after a viral video showed Regina in tears, saying, “In Ned’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen.”
In response to the controversy, Ned Nwoko accused Regina of alcohol and drug abuse, alleging that her behaviour had caused unrest in their home.
“Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. Regina is the violent one here, slapping staff and destroying property for no just cause,” Nwoko claimed.
He added that he had offered to help her seek rehabilitation both in Nigeria and abroad, warning individuals spreading false information about his family to desist or face legal consequences.
The senator also addressed another viral clip showing him with a young woman, clarifying that she was not a new wife but a member of the Peace Ambassadors delegation who visited him and his colleagues in Abuja.
In a counterstatement, Regina’s brother, Sammy West, accused Nwoko of assaulting his sister and sending thugs to intimidate their family.
However, recent reports suggest that family intervention may have helped ease the tension, with Regina reportedly returning to her husband’s residence.
Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko, who tied the knot in 2019, share two sons together.
