Laila Charani, one of the wives of Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko, has made shocking allegations against her co-wife, Regina Daniels, accusing the actress of introducing drugs into their household and negatively influencing family members.
In a statement shared on social media, Laila dismissed Regina’s claims of financial generosity, insisting that she has never received money from her. She emphasized that she is content with her husband’s provisions and challenged Regina to make their bank account records public for transparency.
“How dare you say that you ever gave me money, for what exactly? I am very contented with the provisions my husband makes for our family. We should show Nigerians our bank accounts to see who is paying money to our accounts,” she wrote.
Laila alleged that Regina introduced her to drugs six years ago, a move that nearly destroyed her marriage until her husband intervened. She further accused the actress of supplying drugs to domestic staff and her younger sister, Destiny, and claimed that Regina’s alleged addiction to drugs and alcohol has caused tension in the family.
“The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction,” Laila claimed.
In a more disturbing revelation, Laila accused Regina of inappropriate relations with girls around her and said she no longer trusts her daughters to be left alone with the actress.
She advised Regina to seek professional help and focus on rehabilitation instead of attacking her and other family members online.
“If you do not like me, please stay off my page and stop attacking me and my children. All I have ever wanted is to live peacefully with my husband and family,” she added.
The controversy follows earlier reports of Ned Nwoko’s denial of domestic abuse allegations, as he countered with claims of misconduct within his household.
The matter has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians calling for both parties to resolve their issues privately to prevent further public damage.
