Kim Kardashian has opened up about the surprising results of a recent brain scan, revealing findings of “low brain activity” and an aneurysm that doctors say has existed for years.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old reality star met again with celebrity physician Dr. Daniel Amen, who explained that imaging results showed unusually low activity in her frontal lobes.
Kim Kardashian immediately pushed back on the findings, saying, “That just can’t be. It just can’t. I’m not accepting.”
Dr. Amen linked the low activity to chronic stress — a conclusion Kim admitted made sense, given her years-long struggle with bar exam preparations and the emotional toll of her divorce from Kanye West.
Trying to keep the mood light, Kim joked, “I have a beautiful brain. I’ve heard that before,” referencing her past scans in 2022 alongside sisters Khloé and Kendall.
The doctor assured her that she showed no signs of being at high risk for Alzheimer’s and praised her for being “extraordinary” in maintaining positivity despite the stress. However, he noted “holes” in the scan — indicators of low brain activity — and warned that her frontal lobe function was not strong enough to sustain the level of pressure she has been under.
The appointment came shortly after Kim revealed she failed the July 2025 California Bar Exam sitting. Still, she remained determined, saying: “I got to get on a plan to really figure this out because I have some s*** to do this summer.”
In an earlier episode, Kim Kardashian also disclosed that a Prenuvo full-body scan detected a brain aneurysm that had been present for years. She reached out to renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Keith Black, who warned that extreme stress could worsen the condition.
Kim Kardashian attributed her heightened stress levels to the combination of bar exam pressures, co-parenting responsibilities, and the emotional aftermath of her highly publicized 2022 divorce.
