A fresh wave of tension has erupted on social media between Isreal DMW, Davido’s close aide, and DJ Tunez, longtime collaborator of Wizkid, igniting heated reactions from fans on both sides.
The feud reportedly began after DJ Tunez shared a post that many interpreted as a subtle jab at Isreal. In a swift response, Isreal took to Instagram, warning Tunez that he would “learn a lesson,” and stressing that he is not someone who engages in online battles.
The exchange escalated as both men traded indirect insults. Isreal allegedly mocked DJ Tunez by calling him an “illegitimate child” and renaming him “DJ Tunnel,” urging him to “respect his own king.” DJ Tunez fired back by posting a video clip of the moment Davido once slapped Israel—an attempt to taunt and embarrass him.
The confrontation immediately split fans along familiar lines. Supporters of Davido defended Isreal and slammed DJ Tunez for instigating trouble, while Wizkid FC praised Tunez and condemned Isreal for using demeaning insults.
The clash has added a new layer to the long-running rivalry between Davido and Wizkid’s fan bases, with observers warning that the situation could escalate if both camps continue exchanging jabs online.
