Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has again reduced the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), lowering it from N828 to N699 per litre, effective December 11, 2025.
The new price represents a N129 reduction per litre, translating to a 15.6% decrease from the previous rate.
Although the company has not yet issued an official statement, a senior official at the refinery confirmed the price adjustment.
According to reports, top management said the latest cut was introduced to ease transportation costs ahead of the Christmas season, when millions of Nigerians travel across the country to reunite with family.
The company added that the pricing move reflects its commitment to “making the season memorable for citizens and reducing cost pressures on road transport operators.”
