Emmanuella, the baby mama of popular Nigerian streamer and skit-maker Carter Efe, has broken her silence following a series of online posts allegedly made about her by the comedian.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Emmanuella said she never planned to speak publicly about her private life but felt compelled to respond because of the nature of the claims against her.
She addressed Carter Efe’s assertion that they had been single for over a year, disputing the claim.
According to her, although they are not officially in a relationship, they had remained intimate until recently. She alleged that they had sexual relations just three days before his public post.
Emmanuella also made allegations regarding her career, stating that despite studying medical anatomy, she was discouraged from working in a hospital after Carter Efe accused her of intending to engage in inappropriate relationships with doctors.
She further claimed that the streamer contacted her to boast about the platform he had allegedly given her, threatened to withdraw it, and warned that he was about to post damaging content about her online.
In her words:
“He called me this morning and told me he gave me a platform and made people like me. He said he’s still going to take that platform away from me and that he’s about to post something.”
According to Emmanuella, after the post went live, she felt emotionally drained and confused, questioning why such personal matters were taken to social media.
While she acknowledged that it was understandable for him to say they were no longer together, she maintained that making negative claims about her publicly was unfair and hurtful.
“I’m very happy you’re the one coming out to say all this about me because this is actually the right time. This is all I needed to come out and say my truth,” she added.
The situation has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many social media users calling for restraint and urging both parties to resolve their differences privately.
