The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, is set to give out nine of his children in marriage on the same day.
Matawalle, a former Governor of Zamfara State, is married to four wives—Aisha, Balkisu, Fatima and Dadiya.
According to a general invitation shared by Dan Jafaru Aleengoo Turakee, the wedding ceremonies of the minister’s sons and daughters are scheduled to hold on February 6, 2026, at the Central Mosque, Abuja.
A separate invitation revealed some of the couples set to tie the knot on the day. Former Speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, will marry Nana Bello Matawalle.
Ibrahim Sahabi Liman is set to wed Farida Bello Matawalle, while Yazid Shehu Dan Fulani will marry Safiya Bello Matawalle.
Another union listed is between Umar Ibrahim Danmaliki and Aisha Bello Matawalle.
Details of the remaining marriages were not fully disclosed in the invitations, but all ceremonies are expected to take place on the same day at the venue in Abuja.
