Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been charged with two additional counts of rape, according to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
Partey had previously appeared in court, where he denied allegations of raping two women and sexually assaulting a third.
On Thursday morning, the CPS confirmed that the new charges relate to a separate report of non-recent offences allegedly committed in 2020, following a fresh investigation conducted by the Metropolitan Police.
According to prosecutors, the additional allegations were first reported in August 2025.
As a result of the new charges, the Ghana international is scheduled to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 13, for a first hearing.
Partey currently plays for Spanish side Villarreal after leaving Arsenal last year.
The case remains ongoing.
