Elijah Blue Allman Charged After Incident at New Hampshire Prep School

Cher's son, Elijah Blue Allman released from hospital after drug overdose

Elijah Blue Allman, the son of music icon Cher, has been charged following an alleged disturbance at an elite preparatory school in New Hampshire.

According to the Concord Police Department (CPD), the musician was taken into custody on Friday after officers responded to a report of an “unwanted guest” at St. Paul’s School in Concord at approximately 6 p.m. local time.

Local outlet WMUR-TV reported that a male individual was in the school’s dining hall causing a disturbance and behaving belligerently. Officials confirmed that the individual had no association with the school.

Allman was detained and charged with two counts of simple assault, as well as criminal trespassing, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct.

The Deadsy frontman was processed at the Merrimack County Jail and later released on personal recognisance bail, meaning he was not required to pay bail but must appear for future court proceedings.

The charges come months after Allman was taken to a medical facility in California in June last year after allegedly “acting erratically,” according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, which spoke to People at the time. He was released from the facility a few days later.

Earlier, Cher had filed for a temporary conservatorship over her son’s estate, citing concerns over alleged substance abuse and declining mental health. However, the pair later reached a private agreement, and Cher voluntarily dismissed the petition in September 2024.
