Priscilla Ojo has shared insights into how her husband, Juma Jux, became part of her mother, Iyabo Ojo’s, latest movie project, The Return of Arinzo.
According to her, getting him on board was seamless, largely because of the strong family relationships and support system.
“It wasn’t difficult convincing my husband, Juma Jux, to act in my mum’s movie because my mum has always been supportive of us,” she said.
Priscilla explained that Juma Jux was eager to return the support, adding that he approached the role with enthusiasm and delivered beyond expectations.
“He was excited about supporting my mum too, and he really wanted to do it; he did extremely well,” she added.
Tanzania Premiere in View
She also revealed plans to take the film beyond Nigeria, confirming that a premiere in Tanzania is scheduled for May.
“We will be coming to Tanzania by May for the premiere of Arinzo because we have some Tanzanians in the movie,” she said.
The development adds an international dimension to the project, reflecting growing collaboration between Nollywood and East African entertainment industries.
With The Return of Arinzo already generating attention, Juma Jux’s transition into acting and his involvement in the film have further increased anticipation among fans across both regions.
