“My Body Started Vibrating in a crazy way, I Fell” — Daniel Etim Effiong Opens Up On Strange Church Experience

Toyosi Etim-Effiong Celebrates Husband

Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong has shared a deeply personal moment that left him shaken and questioning his faith.

Speaking during a podcast interview with Ifedayo Agoro, the actor recounted an unusual experience that happened before a Sunday service.

According to him, he arrived early at church and greeted one of the female pastors. But something about that moment immediately stood out.

He said after hugging her, he noticed her body was vibrating in a way he could not explain.

Trying to brush it off, he went into the auditorium and took his seat. But moments later, the same sensation hit him.

“My body started vibrating,” he recalled, explaining that the feeling came suddenly, even though no prayer session or special activity was going on at the time.

As it intensified, he said he lost control and eventually fell to the floor right there in the church.

What made the moment even more striking was that it happened before the service had even started.

His wife, Toyosi Etim Effiong, was seated beside him and witnessed everything unfold. According to him, both of them were confused at first and could not immediately make sense of what was happening.

Reflecting on it later, Daniel said the experience stayed with him and pushed him to think more deeply about his spiritual life.

He described it as something beyond normal explanation, choosing to see it as a personal spiritual encounter, while also acknowledging that others may interpret it differently.

Known for roles in films like The Herd and Oloture, Daniel Etim Effiong says the moment was not staged or planned, but one that has since shaped how he views his faith.
