Former Big Brother Naija housemate Queen Atang has written an open letter to MultiChoice and Africa Magic following her appearance at the 2026 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
In the message shared on Instagram, Queen expressed gratitude to the platform for giving her visibility through BBNaija and for inviting her to the prestigious entertainment event held in Lagos.
The reality TV star also proposed creating a dedicated AMVCA-themed event focused on Nigerian entrepreneurs.
According to her, while the awards ceremony already features side events such as cultural day celebrations, an entrepreneurs’ night could provide a platform for showcasing innovation, business creativity, and impact.
“Just a thought since we already have the AMVCA Cultural Day and other special events before the main award night, would it be possible to create a special night dedicated to entrepreneurs in Nigeria to showcase their brands, creativity, and impact?” she wrote.
“Imagine AMVCA Nigerian Entrepreneurs Night. Massive, classy, and inspiring.”
Queen ended the post humorously, adding, “Let me go home and pray on it ooo.”
Her comments quickly generated reactions online, with some supporters praising the idea as a creative way to bridge entertainment, fashion, and business culture in Nigeria.
Others argued that entrepreneurship has increasingly become part of celebrity culture and deserves recognition alongside film, television, and digital entertainment.
Queen also became one of the talking points on the AMVCA red carpet for her unconventional outfit, designed by Tiannah Styling.
The look featured a bread-inspired fashion concept paired with a pot of beans accessory, sparking widespread conversations and mixed reactions across social media.
Some fans praised the creativity and boldness behind the styling, while others debated whether the concept was fashion or performance art.
The 12th AMVCA gathered actors, filmmakers, influencers, reality stars, and entertainment personalities from across Africa to celebrate achievements in film, television, and digital storytelling.
Bovi Ugboma and Nomzamo Mbatha hosted this year’s ceremony.
