Tega Dominic has publicly denied allegations linking her romantically to media personality Frank Edoho after his estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, accused him of infidelity and mentioned several women allegedly connected to him.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate addressed the controversy in an official statement shared on her Instagram page through her management team, insisting there was never any sexual or emotional relationship between herself and the television host.
According to Tega, she initially chose to remain silent because she did not want to fuel unnecessary drama online. Eventually, she decided to respond after the allegations continued spreading across social media.
In the statement titled “MY RELATIONSHIP WITH FRANK EDOHO,” Tega firmly denied any affair with the longtime television presenter.
“I have absolutely no sexual or emotional relationship with Frank Edoho,” she stated.
“Frank is a great guy and a very good friend of mine.”
The reality star explained that their friendship began sometime last year after Frank sent her mother birthday wishes.
She added that although they were already familiar with each other through the entertainment industry and social media circles, nothing inappropriate ever happened between them.
“We started talking around mid last year after he sent birthday wishes to my mum,” she explained.
“Like many people in the industry, we already knew each other through social media and mutual familiarity.”
Tega also revealed that the only physical meeting she ever had with Frank Edoho took place in the presence of her manager, Paul Ukonu.
“The first and only time I hung out with Frank was with my manager, Paul Ukonu, present,” she stated.
“I have absolutely nothing to hide.”
She further stressed that if she had ever been romantically involved with Frank, she would have admitted it openly instead of hiding it.
“And honestly, if I ever had anything to do with Frank romantically, I would say it with my full chest,” she added.
The reality TV star also expressed frustration over what she described as attempts to damage the reputation she has spent years building.
“I have worked too hard to build myself and my brand step by step to allow false accusations stain my name like this,” she said.
Tega maintained that she owes it to her family, supporters, and business partners to protect her public image and credibility.
She also demanded evidence from those making allegations against her and warned that her legal team would now handle the situation moving forward.
“I believe it is important for evidence to be provided because I will not let this slide,” she wrote.
“My name cannot be dragged carelessly into false narratives.”
The controversy comes amid the ongoing public fallout surrounding Frank Edoho’s separation from his estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, who recently accused him of infidelity and financial irresponsibility during their marriage.
As reactions continued online, Tega insisted that her latest statement would be the first and last time she addressed the allegations publicly.
