Content creator and influencer Ashmusy has opened up about her decision to freeze her eggs, revealing that heartbreak and failed relationships pushed her to secure her future as a mother.
Speaking about the deeply personal choice, Ashmusy explained that motherhood remains one of her biggest dreams and she did not want uncertainty in relationships to affect that future.
“I really wanted to secure my future as a mother,” she said.
“Motherhood is very important to me, and I want to be sure that I will become a mum in the future, no matter what happens.”
According to her, several relationships she once believed would eventually lead to marriage unexpectedly ended, forcing her to rethink her expectations about love and commitment.
Ashmusy noted that many of the men she dated initially appeared serious about marriage before things later fell apart.
The influencer explained that those experiences made her realise finding the right life partner might take longer than she originally expected.
“That made me understand that finding the right partner might take longer than I expected,” she added.
“Because of that, I decided to secure my future and play safe.”
Ashmusy also pointed to emotional unavailability and lack of maturity from some men as part of the reason she chose to take control of her future independently.
Her revelation has since sparked conversations online about relationships, marriage expectations, fertility choices, and women taking proactive decisions about motherhood.
