“Please Lord, Make Me Extremely Wealthy” – Queen Mercy Atang Shares Emotional Prayer After Seeing Families Suffer

Queen Mercy Atang Confirms Her Marriage

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Queen Mercy Atang has opened up about the emotional toll of witnessing the hardship many Nigerians face, revealing that scenes of families losing everything and children being rescued from floodwaters often leave her heartbroken.

The reality TV star shared a heartfelt message on social media, saying that her greatest desire is not for personal luxury but for the ability to change lives and support those struggling to meet their basic needs.

According to Queen, seeing vulnerable families displaced by disasters and children caught in dangerous situations has made her reflect deeply on the privileges many people take for granted.

She admitted that she often wished she had the financial means and influence to ensure people could at least live comfortably, even if they were not wealthy.

“I’m so sad.

Sometimes I wish I had the money and the influence to make everyone comfortable. Not necessarily rich, just comfortable enough to have the basic things every human deserves: a safe home in a good environment, good food to eat, access to quality education, the ability to afford hospital bills, and the everyday essentials for a decent life.”

She added that images of flood victims, especially children, have been particularly difficult for her to watch.

“Seeing little children being pulled from floodwaters or families losing everything breaks me into pieces. It honestly hurts my heart.”

Rather than praying for riches to enjoy a lavish lifestyle, Queen said her request to God is driven by a desire to become a blessing to others.

She explained that if she ever becomes extremely wealthy, her goal would be to ease people’s burdens and restore hope to those facing difficult circumstances.

“Lord, please make me extremely wealthy. Not for luxury or status, but to put smiles on people’s faces, lift burdens, and help those in need.

Please, Lord.”

Queen’s emotional message resonated with many followers, who praised her for expressing empathy toward people affected by poverty and natural disasters.

Several supporters offered prayers that her dreams of making a positive impact would become reality, while others encouraged Nigerians to continue supporting one another during difficult times.

The former BBNaija star has previously used her platform to speak about kindness, compassion and giving back, and her latest post once again reflects her desire to use success as a tool to improve the lives of others.
