American realtor and reality TV star Sharelle Rosado has publicly defended her friend, Sophia Momodu, following allegations that appeared to link her to an affair with one of Caroline Danjuma’s former partners.
Caroline recently sparked controversy after accusing an unnamed friend of having a relationship with her ex-boyfriend while they were still together.
Although she did not mention anyone by name, her reference to the woman being in clubs with her “American friends” led to widespread speculation on social media.
Reacting to the controversy, Sharelle named Caroline, saying she had long been wary of the actress.
According to her, she repeatedly warned Sophia to be cautious whenever Caroline was around.
“I always trusted my intuition when it came to this woman Carolyn. Every time she was around, my spirit told me something wasn’t right. I even told Sophie more than once to be careful with her.”
Sharelle said she was disappointed by the allegations, insisting that Sophia had always treated Caroline with kindness.
She criticized the actress for allegedly dragging another woman into a personal issue rather than addressing it directly.
“What’s even sadder is that Sophie is someone who has always been kind to her. As a woman, grow up and address whatever issue you have directly instead of trying to use another woman to chase clout.”
Sharelle claimed it was obvious who Caroline was referring to when she mentioned “American friends.”
She also maintained that Sophia has been in a committed relationship and described the allegation as false.
“We all know who you were trying to accuse falsely when you mentioned her ‘American Friends’…. Sophie has been in the same committed relationship for a while now, so for someone to suddenly wake up and make such a serious, false accusation is disturbing.”
The reality TV star suggested that jealousy may have influenced Caroline’s actions, while stressing that making false accusations is unacceptable.
“Jealousy and bitterness can lead people to make terrible decisions, but falsely accusing someone is a line that should never be crossed.”
She concluded by urging Caroline to speak openly and truthfully if she had concerns.
“If you have something to say, say it with your chest and speak the truth, not for attention!”
As of this writing, Caroline Danjuma has not responded to Sharelle Rosado’s statement.
Although Caroline’s earlier social media posts did not mention Sophia Momodu by name, Sharelle’s response has intensified speculation surrounding the identity of the person at the centre of the controversy.
