Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane has been crowned the best player in Africa for the year 2019 in review.
The Liverpool forward was given the award after an stunning season with Liverpool at the English Premier League as well as leading Senegal to the final of the Nations Cup at Egypt where they lost to Algeria.
Sadio Mane won the award ahead of Liverpool teammate, Mohammed Salah who came second as Manchester City forward, Riyad Mahrez came third in the rankings.
The Senegalese forward was prolific in front of goals last season he netted 30 goals in 58 appearance for club and country as he won the Champions League and Club World Cup with Liverpool.
Sadio Mane has started this season in another thrilling form having scored 15 goals in 28 appearance.
