The Lagos State Government says Everything in place against Coronavirus from their end as many issues are arising.

It is now about three weeks when the first index case of Coronavirus surfaces in Lagos, Nigeria.

Also, there was an explosion just two days back in Festac and the report states it was pipeline explosion.


Many people lost their lives, many sustain injuries while many houses were destroyed.

Some people says the venue of the incidence is like a war front. The damages were really bad.

According to the state government about the issue, they have raised a committee for crowd funding.

In addtion, the Lagos state governor pays an unscheduled visit to Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja.

He say everything is set from his end as he prepares hard for coronavirus.


Jide Sanwo-olu also says there will no be special VIP tickets for government officials leaving the country.

He makes this statement on his official Instagram account.

Here are some of his words.

“This Afternoon, we paid an unscheduled visit to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA),


to carry out an on-the-spot assessment of the techniques being deployed to screen inbound passengers by the combined team of airport officials and health workers.”

Moreover, he did not wear a mask when he makes the emergency visit to the airport.

He addresses everyone to remain calm and patient as everything is under his watch. and control.

In conclusion, the governor is committed to the affairs of his people and everyone living in Lagos state.
