The Nigerian but Dubai based internet personality, Hushpuppi is in the news again.
And this time around it is about the allegations of cyber crime he has been facing.
The United States of America has however transferred his trial case to California.
Hushpuppi himself disengaged his lawyer Gal Pissetzky who has been defending Hushpuppi’s image in public.
Remember some months ago how he was arrested in his residence in Dubai and was taken into custody.
Internet has been Hushpuppi’s base and has been using it to show case his wealth and fortune.
Just immediately after his arrest, he was arraigned in Chicago for money laundering charges.
And he immediately hired a lawyer for himself to defend and solicit on his behalf.
Remember how the internet bug boy was denied access to bail in Chicago.
The transfer has however come from the United States of America government to orally renews his motion to remove him from custody.
And the motion was granted during the detention hearing on Monday.
It is also known that Hushpuppi refused to allow his lawyer and solicitor Gal Pissetzky to take up the case.
As he only want the attorney in council appointed to him to take up the case.
