Nigerian youths have once again shown how dedicated they are in writing a new story in the country history as they continue protesting in Lagos despite that the Governor issued a 24 hours curfew.
It would be recalled that we reported that
Lagos State Governor,
Babajide Sanwo-Olu declared a statewide curfew of 24 hours due to the ongoing
violence happening during the EndSars protest in the state.
With the famous Lekki Toll Gate currently blocked by youths as they continue
to protest over the consistent police brutality happening around the country,
Lagos have seen a lot of protest in various part in the state.
Protest in the state have however been marred by some sad story of protesters
being attacked by some set of hoodlums whose aim is to disrupt
the peaceful protest.
Sanwo-Olu who joined the protest some days ago announced that there will
be curfew in the state starting from 4pm as he issued some notable point
why it has to done.
However, protesters have continue protesting despite the curfew as award
winning comedian and actor, Ayo Makun popularly known as AY took to official
Instagram page to heap praise on them.
The talented father of one shared a video clips from the ongoing EndSars protest
in the state and noted how proud he is to have been in a generation that’s ready
to change the situation of the country for good.
