Instagram apologizes for incorrectly flagging #ENDSARS posts as fake news

Photo-sharing-app, Instagram has offered a sincere apologies to Nigerians across the globe after the social media platform flagged #EndSars post as a fake news.

Social media have become a powerful tools for everyone across the globe

including Nigerians who have been using the platform to speak about the injustice

done to them by the government.

Hashtag EndSars have been trending on the internet for the past few years and

things took a dramatic turn yesterday when they Instagram flagged any post under

the hashtag as a fake news.

This movement raised eyebrows from Nigerians who believed the social media

platform are trying to stop the whole world from seeing the truth on what’s

happening in the country.

Instagram have however come out to reveal how sorry they are to have had the

post on EndSARS flagged as a fake news.

The social media platform noted that the issue have been resolved and everything is back to normal.
