American rapper, Cardi B and Offset are officially back together as the femcee has formally asked the court to dismiss her petition for divorce from the Migos rapper.
As earlier reported that the ‘WAP’ performer shocked the world in September
when she initially filed the original divorce motion; a move that would have brought
about the end of the couple’s two-year-marriage.
Cardi B then took to social media to stress that, while cheating wasn’t an issue or the
issue, the couple had reached an impasse and were not getting on.
However, it quickly became apparent that fences had been mended when Cardi and
Offset were spotted canoodling at her 27th birthday in Las Vegas last month.
She went on to explain why they reunited shortly after, saying:
“I just be starting to miss [him]… It’s hard not to talk to your best friend. And it’s really hard to have no d*ck.”
Per TMZ, the dismissal was filed “without prejudice” – which legally reserves the
right to refile the divorce at a later date.
This is coming just hours after Offset shared a clip of Cardi cleaning their home
which he said was a direct nod to the lyrics on her single ‘WAP’ (“I don’t cook, I don’t clean. But let me tell you how I got this ring“).
He is audibly heard telling the chart-topper “stop lying on your songs” and went on to caption the clip “LIAR.”
