Multiple award-winning American singer, Ashanti has tested positive for COVID-19 hours before her Verzuz battle against Keyshia Cole.
The Verzuz battle is an American webcast series created by producers Timbaland and Swizz Beatz.
The series invites two music icons, predominantly R&B and hip-hop, to highlight their discographies in two 10 -song rounds during a three – hour session.
Verzuz battle and Swizz Beat via their official Instagram account have now revealed that the battle between both superstars have been postponed due to the Coronavirus status of Ashanti.
The battle was scheduled to begin at 8p.m. ET / 5 p .m.PT on the Verzuz Instagram page and Apple Music .
New date have now been fixed for the battle as Ashanti will be facing off with Keyshia Cole on the 9th of January 2021 in what promises to be an entertaining battle between both singers.
