Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu has finally tested negative for COVID-19. This good news was announced during a press briefing on Thursday, December 24.
The development comes about two weeks after the governor contracted the novel disease and thereafter went into isolation.
“Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu tests negative for COVID-19. Now out of isolation,” his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, announced on Thursday afternoon.
Just like the rest of the world, Nigeria have been rocked with the deadly pandemic virus and the second wave has hit states across the country including Lagos that’s recording high number of cases on a daily basis.
In order to curb further outspread of the virus, Lagos State Government have asked some workers to work from home as all forms of parties, carnivals and clubbing in the state till further notice.
