French Ligue 1 champion Paris Saint-Germain has sacked their manager Thomas Tuchel after a disappointing 4 nil defeat to Strasbourg on their last match for 2020.
Tuchel leaves the Parc des Princes after two-and-a-half years in charge.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino have now been tipped to replace Tuchel as he will return to management with his former club.Mauricio Pochettino spent two years as a player with the French Champion and has been tipped as the new manager that will be tasked with steadying the ship.
Thomas Tuchel won six trophies with Les Parisiens, including back-to-back Ligue 1
crowns and led Paris Saint-Germain to the UEFA Champions League final last season where they lost to Bayern Munich.
