Big Brother Naija reality star Khafi Kareem has issued a stern warning to women who are currently participating in the silhouette challenge on social media.
The Silhouette Challenge involves posing in a doorway before turning yourself into a sultry black silhouette against a red background.
It’s not known who kicked off the whole thing but the challenge hashtag has already amassed over 90 million views.
Some top Nigerian celebrities like Venita, Mercy Eke, and Vee have all joined in the challenge (See their challenge video here).
However, Khafi Kareem who seems not too impressed with these activities has taken to Twitter to berates those involving themselves in it.
According to the beautiful brand influencer, the internet doesn’t forget kinds of stuff like this and it will be a huge disappointment if some ladies’ future are affected by this challenge.
Just a quick reminder that internet don’t forget
The fact is society is harder on women. I should know this from personal experience. What you put out into the Internet space remains there. A male can post the exact same thing or similar and not get the same heat/consequences that a female would.
This is not me being anti fun this is just facts. As long as you are fully aware and fully conscious of this by all means do what you want, but do not cry when it gets into the wrong hands or your future is affected because of what has been posted on the Internet in the past.
