Audio streaming platform, Spotify set to begin operations in Nigeria

Audio service company Spotify has announced via Twitter that they will be expanding their services into 80 new markets in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.

Spotify has grown to become one of the best streaming platforms in the world and Nigerians are set to enjoy some of the luxuries that comes with the streaming platform.

A Spotify Premium subscription costs $9.99 a month, with student and family plans for $4.99 and $14.99 respectively.


The company presently operates across 93 countries and territories.

The company tweeted:
