Nollywood actress Ini Edo was (born April 23, 1982), in Ibibio, Akwa Ibom State to Mr and Mrs Edo. She is the second child among four of her parent’s children, three girls, one boy. Her mother was a teacher, and her father was a church elder. She attended Cornelius Connely College in Uyo. She graduated from the University of Uyo where she got a Diploma in Theatre Arts. She also completed her bachelor’s degree program at the University of Calabar where she studied English. In 2014 she got a scholarship to study law at the National Open University of Nigeria.

Career

Ini’s acting career started in 2003 with her debut in a Nollywood movie titled Thick Madam. She was discovered by a producer at the audition she attended.
