Popular Nigerian journalist Stephanie Busari has sparked a new argument on social media after she claimed Nigeria’s Covid-19 protocols better than that of United Kingdom.
Covid-19 has brought a lot of changes to people’s day to day activities with face mask now part of their dress code and social distance being observed in public places.
Despite that United Kingdom are known for having better facilities and infrastructure, Stephanie has insisted that Covid-19 protocols in Nigeria is better.
According to the well-renowned journalist, when she arrived in UK for her summer holiday, she discovered that Nigeria Covid-19 protocols is cheaper and more efficient.
She tweeted:
Arrived UK for summer hols and the difference in Covid protocols is stark. The Nigerian process is cheaper and more efficient. Long wait at LHR for manual checks, when MMA uses QR codes. Also paid £358 for all tests (+ daughter) compared to 50,400 naira. Kudos @NCDCgov
Stephanie Busari is known for exclusively obtaining the ‘proof of life’ video for the missing Chibok schoolgirls in the wake of the Bring Back Our Girls advocacy which led to negotiations with Boko Haram that resulted in the release of over 100 of the kidnapped schoolgirls.
