“Sound Sultan will be sorely missed” – Gov. Sanwo-Olu mourn deceased singer

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has joined the leagues of high ranking government officials to mourn the death of veteran singer Sound Sultan.

Sound Sultan’s death came as a big shock to millions of Nigerians across the globe as the singer lose the battle to cancer.

Tributes have been pouring in ever since he was pronounce dead with President Muhammadu Buhari also penning an emotional post to mourn Sound Sultan (Read Post Here).

Sanwo-Olu has now become the latest top personality to mourn the singer via a post on his official Instagram account.

According to the governor, Sound Sultan’s death is a painful one as he used his God-given gifts in music, acting and sports to advance the course of humanity.

The governor commiserate with family and friends of the deceased, praying God grant them strength to bear the loss.

The news of the passing away of talented musical artiste, Olanrewaju Fasasi is a painful one.

As an established pop star, he was a bundle of talent, and used his God-given gifts in music, acting and sports to advance the course of humanity.

Sound Sultan will be sorely missed by his family, friends, fans and the Nigerian entertainment industry as one of the pacesetters of modern hip hop music in Nigeria.

Beyond just singing, the late star was notable for using his music to speak against poverty, corruption, bad governance and societal ills in Nigeria.

I commiserate with his wife, children and all his loved ones on behalf of the government and people of Lagos State and I pray that God grants him eternal rest.
