Veteran singer, actor and comedian Sound Sultan have been remembered by close friends and family as a candlelight night was held in his honour.
It would be recalled that Sound Sultan died on the 11th of July after he lost the battle to cancer.
His death sparked reactions from top personalities in all walks of life including Nigeria President, Mohammodu Buhari, who penned a heartwarming message to the late singer, (Read Message Here).
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu also mourned the death of Sound Sultan on his official social media platforms with Nigeria’s male basketball team, D’tigers paying a tribute to him before their match against Australia, (Watch Video Here).
As condolences messages continue to pour in for the late singer, a candlelight night service was held in his honour yesterday as friends continue to celebrate his legacy.
Those who attended the event rocked a black t-shirt that shows that they are mourning with the face of Sound Sultan printed on it.
They also waved balloons in the singers’ honour with candles being lit, a move that shows the singer will always be remembered for good.
