Boluwatife Balogun, the first son of Nigerian singer and songwriter, Wizkid has opened up to his mother, Shola Ogudu, why he wants to attend a boarding school.
Wizkid and Shola met in 2010 and gave birth to his first son, Boluwatife in 2011 at the age of 19, however, their relationship couldn’t last for long as they had to break up.
Despite that they’ve gone their different way, Wizkid and Shola have continued to shower love and affection on Boluwatife.
Boluwatife who is now 10-year-old has now revealed the main reason why he will like to continue his education at a boarding school rather than a day school.
He revealed this during a timeout with his mother who insisted that he should speak his native language, ‘Yoruba’.
According to Boluwatife, he will like to attend a boarding school because there will be no one to help him with chores like laundry.
Boluwatife noted he believes doing some chores himself will help him in maturing faster, a statement that surprised his mother.
