How much can you steal? – Singer Simi Queries Nigerian government for continuously failing its citizens

Outspoken Nigerian singer and multiple award-winning songwriter Simi in a tweet yesterday evening questioned the Nigerian government over its continuous high level of failing it citizens.

Recall throughout yesterday a name called Tariq trended all day on Twitter over the comments he made about Nigerians who relocate abroad to countries like the U.S and when they arrive they take over their jobs and all.

Simisola did join the space Platform which is owned by Twitter to listen to what Tariq had to really say, at the end of the day most of the things Tariq said despite being an insult to Nigerians, the facts were not far fetched which triggered a lot of Nigerian to react calling out the Nigerian government.

She wrote;

 

”I do not, for the life of me, understand how the government does not see how they, we have so much much much more to gain if they actually fixed the country. Why are they blind to the big picture. How much can you steal? How much can you spend? Why can’t you help your people?

In other news, BBNaija reality star revealed that If she wants to do Olosho work she won’t be charging N500k because she can give people more than that  (read it here).
