Multiple award-winning Afropop singer, Simi took to her social media to scold Up and coming artists while also dishing out real strategic advice needed for them to succeed via social media.
The mother-of-one advised upcoming artists to become more active and engaging on social media as regards their music in order to be able to sell themselves and their music.
Simi further advised them to leave the air of mystery for when they’ve finally won.
In her words;
“You a “serious” growing artist and you have only 3 posts on your page.
A picture of the sunset, one of aeroplane, and one of your shoe. Captioned – Lost, but don’t find me.
Nothing with your music in it. That’s not a great look. If you want it bad bad, always be selling yourself. Leave the mysterious shit for when you’ve won! Even then, still leave it.”
