Happie Boys are now in Cyprus as an undergraduate, after they were sacked from their place of work (chicken Republic) in Nigeria for dancing on duty.
After a video of Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson dancing in their security uniform went viral, they became internet celebrities.
They got widespread support after news of their dismissal went viral, and they were given a fully-funded scholarship to study overseas with their manager, Caleb.
The trio arrived in Cyprus a few weeks ago and took to Instagram to thank their benefactor, Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor of Omega Power Ministries, OPM, and other well-meaning Nigerians for their assistance.
The ‘Happie Boys,’ as they are now called, have uploaded more images of themselves in class and in the university cafeteria. In the images, they sported Agbada to show off their African roots.
