The All Progressives Congress (APC) has set a fee of N100 million for its presidential expression of interest and nomination forms for 2023.
The decision was made today, April 20, during an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja.
Nomination forms for governorship, Senate, and House of Representatives positions cost N50 million, N20 million, and N10 million, respectively, according to the party.
The sale of forms will begin on Saturday, April 23rd, according to the party.
Felix Morka, the party’s national publicity secretary, told reporters following the meeting that the party’s nomination form would cost N70 million, while expression of interest forms would cost N30 million.
In contrast to Betta Edu, the party’s national women’s leader, who had previously stated that women would receive free nomination forms, Morka stated that women are entitled to free nomination forms but must pay for their expression of interest forms.
