Presidential aide Bashir Ahmad claims former President Goodluck Jonathan has joined the APC

Bashir Ahmad, a presidential adviser, failed to win the All Progressives Congress ticket for the federal constituency of Gaya, Ajingi, and Albasu, which he contested.

Ahmad, who received only 16 votes in today’s primary election, said he left the polling station because thugs were present.

Mahmoud Abdullahi Gaya, the incumbent lawmaker who won the election, received 106 votes.
