Tekno Miles, also known as Tekno, (born December 17, 1992) as Augustine Miles Kelechi, in Bauchi State, Nigeria, but grew up in Ivo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State. Miles Kelechi was one of six children, including five brothers and a sister. his father used to serve in the Nigerian Army, and as a result of his father’s employment, he traveled all over the country, particularly in Northern Nigerian states like Nasarawa, Kaduna, and Abuja.
Moving on to his education, for his secondary studies he attended Heritage School, Kaduna, and then enrolled in middle school at the age of 8. While attending middle school he started learning how to play piano and guitar.

Tekno’s music career began in 2012 when he was discovered by popular Nigerian comedian Julius Agwu after Tekno played the song named, Onye Ne Kwu, his remix of Ice Prince’s Oleku, and garnered a standing ovation.
After meeting them on that show, he became good friends with Made Men Music Group‘s manager Iyanya and Ubi Franklyn. Ubi and Iyanya were the ones that persuaded him to relocate to Lagos and pursue a full-time music career.
Miles signed a deal with K-Money Entertainment, and in 2013, he released his first single, Holiday, which included Davido’s locals. The song became a smash after garnering excellent reviews and receiving extensive radio and television exposure.

Furthermore, his song “Holiday” caught the eye of Made Men Music Group (MMMG), a Nigerian musical label with whom he inked a deal on October 5, 2013.
