Early Life
Ubi Franklin (born February 2, 1986) was born in Cross River State, Nigeria. He is the 11th of 15 children. He had his primary and secondary education in Calabar, after which he studied law at the University of Madonna, Nigeria.
Career
Franklin began her career as Julius Agwu’s assistant before moving on to work with AY Makun and other artists. He then worked in show promotion. He became Iyanya’s manager in 2010, just before the song “kukere,” which became a hit, was released. When the label expanded in 2014, other artists such as Tekno, Emma Nyra, and Selebobo were signed.
Instant Pickup, Instant Apartment & Instant Ryde
In July 2017, he launched Instant Pickup, an online service that offers instant home pickup and laundry delivery. He also launched Instant Apartment, an online platform that offers luxury apartments for rent in the same year. In October 2018, he launched Instant Ryde, an online taxi service in his home town Calabar, Cross River state, and Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.

Franklin is also a public speaker. He was a speaker at the Youth Enterprise Conference organized by Nairabet’s founder, Otunba Akin Alabi. Made Men Music Group (Triple MG) is a Nigerian record label founded in September 2012 by Ubi Franklin. Ubi Franklin is not only the CEO of the record label but also their manager. Iyanya, Tekno Miles, Emma Nyra, DJ Coublon, Selebobo, Chibbz, and Baci are among the artists who have signed with the record label thus far.
Iyanya, on the other hand, left the record label in 2016 due to financial mismanagement, poor business decisions, and so on. Tekno Miles, Emma Nyra, DJ Coublon, and Baci have all left the label searching for greener pastures in their respective careers. Triple MG is down to Selebobo and Chibbz, so Ubi is looking for new artists to sign and manage.

Ubi Franklin married Lilian Esoro on November 1, 2015. They both had a son named Jaden a year later. He was born on July 17, 2016. Numerous rumors were swirling around Ubi Franklin’s wedding. Emma Nyra, his other love interest, was one of them in 2015.
