Ufuoma McDermott, a Nigerian actress, confirmed her father’s death on Sunday as the world celebrated Father’s Day.
On Father’s Day, Ufuoma McDermott made the statement in response to a video in which actress Bimbo Ademoye pranked her father with a phony pregnancy alert.
Bimbo had previously released a video on her Instagram page in which she pranked her father about her pregnancy.
Bimbo had filmed her father’s reaction when he found out about her fake pregnancy joke in the video. Bimbo’s father, who did not find the pregnancy announcement amusing, reacted in a dramatic manner, which attracted the attention of a number of Nigerian celebrities.
Sharing the post, Ufuoma McDermott said the Bimbo’s video is the highlight of Father’s Day for her.
“LOST MY DAD ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO. THIS ACTUALLY WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF FATHER’S DAY. FOR ME.” SHE WROTE.
