Barcelona and Bayern Munich have reached an agreement for the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski to join them for £42.5 million (€50 million).
On Sunday, July 17, the former Dortmund striker will fly to Miami, where Barcelona will launch their preseason tour, for a medical before signing his three-year contract, which includes a one-year extension option.
With only one year left on his Bayern contract, the Polish international informed the team that he would not be renewing.
“I didn’t have much time to prepare for it. It all went very quickly to say goodbye to everyone!” Lewandowski told Sky Germany after agreeing his move.
“These eight years were special and you don’t forget that. I had a great time in Munich.
